SAN FRANCISCO -- Buster Posey hit a game-ending two-run homer for his third clout in two nights, sending the San Francisco Giants past the Colorado Rockies 4-2 on Wednesday night for Bruce Bochys 1,600th managerial victory. Blazers Jerseys China . Posey sent an 0-1 pitch from Juan Nicasio (5-6) just inside the left-field foul pole for his 18th homer of the year and second career walkoff homer. He also had one on May 3, 2013, against the Dodgers. Santiago Casilla (2-3), who was ill Tuesday, plunked leadoff hitter Drew Stubbs in the back to start the ninth. Justin Morneau then doubled him home to tie the game at 2. Casilla got a key double play to get out of the inning. Tim Hudsons strong eight-inning, eight-strikeout outing was wasted. Posey followed his two-home run performance a night earlier with a go-ahead single in the seventh inning, then an even bigger hit. He has hit safely in 12 of his past 13 games. After Madison Bumgarners one-hit gem in a 3-0 win Tuesday, Hudson had his own fine outing. He didnt allow a hit until Corey Dickerson led off the fifth with a splash home run into McCovey Cove. It marked the 100th homer into the bay in the 15th-year ballparks history and 34th by a visiting team. Carlos Gonzalez hit the Rockies other two. Hudson reached the 2,000-strikeout mark and won consecutive starts for the first time in nearly three months, since May 27 and June 1. Colorados Franklin Morales saw his winless stretch reach eight starts since a July 8 victory against San Diego. All of Morales wins this season have come against the NL West, and he certainly pitched well enough to keep his team in the game. The left-hander allowed seven hits and one run in seven innings, struck out six and walked one. Gregor Blancos infield single put San Francisco ahead in the bottom of the fourth before Dickerson tied it the next inning with his 20th home run. Hudson joined CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett and Bartolo Colon as the active pitchers with 2,000 or more strikeouts. Bochy became the 19th manager with 1,600 wins. In 14 career starts against Colorado, Hudson is 6-2 with a 5.16 ERA. TRAINERS ROOM Rockies: Colorado placed LHP Boone Logan and catcher Wilin Rosario on the 15-day disabled list. Logan, on the DL for the third time this season, has left elbow inflammation for the second time and Rosario is nursing an inflamed left wrist. LHP Jorge De La Rosa is expected to make his next start -- Sunday at Arizona -- after bruising his left thumb while batting Tuesday. Giants: Backup C Hector Sanchez is expected to miss the remainder of the season while recovering from a second concussion this year. 1B Brandon Belt still must rest for two more weeks with a concussion. He was away from the ballpark Wednesday after his wife went into labour. Shortstop Brandon Crawford didnt start to give him a break from what manager Bruce Bochy called "general soreness." Crawford struck out as a pinch-hitter in the ninth. UP NEXT Rockies: RHP Jordan Lyles (6-1, 4.05) pitches the series finale in his first appearance against the Giants since Aug. 30, 2012. He makes his fifth start since spending a two-month stint on the DL with a broken left hand. Giants: RHP Yusmeiro Petit (3-3, 3.59) starts in place of Tim Lincecum, who was moved to the bullpen after his recent struggles. Petit has retired 38 straight batters over his past seven appearances, six in relief. He is seven shy of the single-season record set by Mark Buehrle with the White Sox from July 18-28, 2009. COLLEGE COMMISSIONER SIGHTING: Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott was part of the sellout crowd of 41,071. Mario Hezonja Jersey .D. Martinezs ninth-inning sacrifice fly scored Torii Hunter with the winning run and the Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins 4-3 Sunday. Wesley Matthews Jersey . I kind of got a taste of being able to pick a suit with the draft lottery, I went with the bow tie. https://www.cheapblazersonline.com/788i-nicolas-ba...azers.h tml . The flanker began his comeback from a right shoulder injury by coming off the bench on Saturday when Wales opened with a victory over Italy. Warburton replaces Justin Tipuric, one of three changes announced on Tuesday by coach Warren Gatland.NASHVILLE -- Ilya Bryzgalov is feeling comfortable and very welcome in the Edmonton Oilers locker room, and the 33-year-old goaltender just proved he still knows how to shut opponents down. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Taylor Hall scored 51 seconds apart in the second period, and Bryzgalov got a shutout in his first start for Edmonton as the Oilers beat the Nashville Predators 3-0 Thursday night. "Always like it when they dont score," Oilers coach Dallas Eakins said. "And he picked up right where he left off last game. I thought he was solid. He looked big in the net, everything. Check marks right across the page for him." Bryzgalov, signed by the Oilers on Nov. 8, made 33 saves in his first NHL start since April 25 when he was in net for Philadelphia. Jordan Eberle added an empty-netter in the final minute off an assist from Hall, and the Oilers have won four of five. "So far so good," Bryzgalov said. Predators captain Shea Weber was hit by a puck near his right eye at 15:24 of the second, dropped to the ice and immediately skated to the locker room. He did not return with what team officials called an upper-body injury and is day-to-day. Nashville, which had won two straight, lost for the second time in seven games. Predators coach Barry Trotz noted they have used four goaltenders themselves this season. "The guys are going to bear down and play hard for the new guy thats in net," Trotz said. "The new guy for them is Bryzgalov, and we talked before the game that we needed to get in the hard areas and throw some pucks. He hasnt played for a while. He may be a little rusty. The game might not be tight. .. But obviously we didnt play hard enough in those hard areas." The Predators hosted one of the NHLs two games and were the only American team in action Thursday, wanting to start a holiday tradition in Nashville pairing hockey with turkey. It was just their 11th home game this season, fewer than all but Dallas and the Rangers. Nashville outshot Edmonton 13-9 in a sluggish first period with the Predators playing the second game of a back-to-back after winnning 4-0 in Columbus on Wednesday night. Jerome Kersey Jersey . This is the Oilers only visit to Nashville this season and the start of a three-game road trip. Eakins said he thought both teams were checking hard, which can lead to a dull or sluggish game. "But when youre coaching and you need your team to get better defensively, thats a ray of bright light coming in when the game looks sluggish but your teams checking very well," Eakins said. The Oilers opened the second by taking the first five shots, and Predators forward Paul Gaustad and Oilers left wing David Perron each went to the penalty box for unsportsmanlike conduct at 5:07. Nugent-Hopkins tipped in a shot by Jeff Petry 25 seconds later during the 4-on-4, and Hall scored on a backhander from Sam Gagner at 6:23 for a 2-0 lead. "Were a fast, skilled team," Nugent-Hopkins said. "We have to take opportunities when we get them. Four-on-four is a situation that when we play our game, we can get a couple goals." Bryzgalov, who signed a one-year deal with the Oilers for $1.7 million, debuted Monday in Edmonton, replacing Devan Dubnyk in a 5-1 loss to Chicago. Bryzgalov stopped four shots from Weber in the first period, but Weber had only one shot in the second before the puck hit him in the face. "Obviously if we lose our captain, its always hard and we hope hes OK and hopefully he gets back soon," Predators defenceman Roman Josi said. Bryzgalov had a nice pad save on Predators forward Mike Fisher in the final minutes to finish off his 31st career shutout and second against the Predators. NOTES: The Oilers are 4-5-2 when scoring first. Nashville dropped to 2-10-0 when the opponent scores first. ... Bryzgalov improved to 10-6-3 against the Predators. ... The Oilers are 5-1-0 when leading after two periods, and Nashville is 0-11-0 when trailing after two. ... Nugent-Hopkins has seven points in the last four games. ... It was Nashvilles fourth game on Thanksgiving and first since 2007. The Predators won the first three on their own ice. ... Nashville is 2-2-0 in the second of back-to-back games this season. ' ' '
