ENGLEWOOD, Colo. Robert Newhouse Jersey . -- Manti Teo says his rough rookie season has nothing to do with the flak hes faced over getting fooled by a hoax involving a fake girlfriend while at Notre Dame. The San Diego Chargers rookie linebacker said in his first conference call of the season Tuesday that he has yet to play a complete game in the NFL but thats because of his adjustment to the pros and not because hes distracted in any way by the catcalls from opposing teams or their fans. Teo said he does a good job blocking out the chatter from the stands. "Ive definitely heard things, but my job is to go out there and to play ball and do my best and hopefully come out with a win. So, all the other outside stuff, if Im paying attention to that, then Im in trouble," Teo said. "But thats what fans do. They love their team. Theyre passionate about their team, so its nothing that I didnt expect." Teo said he hasnt really caught much grief from opposing players. "I havent really run into any of that. I think as players we understand that were all in the same situation. Were all here to play ball and were here as football players, were trying to provide a life for our families and thats about it," Teo said. "When we step on the football field, its all about football and competing. So, I havent really run into any of that stuff." Yet, when asked a follow-up question about opponents trying to get under his skin, he did acknowledge that they sometimes bring up the issue. "But to be honest, Im so locked into the game that basically I dont really catch it," he said. "And at this point, it doesnt really bother me. So, its no big deal, really." Teo was an All-American linebacker whose draft stock fell after his poor showing in the BCS championship game against Alabama and once the hoax was revealed as front office personnel wondered if hed be mentally tough enough to handle the grief hed face over the girlfriend hoax. The Chargers selected him in the second round of the draft, but his development was slowed by a sprained right foot in training camp and he was inactive for the Chargers first three games. Since then, hes been steady, collecting 69 tackles and breaking up four passes while playing inside linebacker next to Donald Butler. Chargers coach Mike McCoy said Teo is facing the usual growing pains a rookie experiences but "each week hes gotten a little bit better." Teo, however, has yet to record an interception or a sack or really have a big impact on a game for the Chargers (6-7), who visit the Broncos (11-2) Thursday night. "I still havent had a complete game yet," Teo said. "Ive felt the most growth I would have to say the Kansas City game (on Nov. 24). There was a different feel to that game, I was comfortable to a level where I could just move. ... Im looking forward to a time when I can have that complete game and Im constantly working to do that." Randy Gregory Jersey . The day began ominously for the Rangers when star pitcher Yu Darvish was scratched from his scheduled start with stiffness in his neck. Fill-in Scott Baker gave up three hits over six innings and Chris Gimenez hit a tiebreaking two-out RBI single in the sixth off Phil Hughes. Charles Haley Jersey . The rookie is rewarding their faith with a stellar first season. MacKinnon had a goal and two assists, Jamie McGinn had two goals and an assist, and Colorado beat the Buffalo Sabres 7-1 on Saturday. http://www.shoptheofficialcowboys.com/Elite-Benson...ys-Jers ey/ . "Im going to send Webbie a six-pack (of beer) tonight," she said. Webb wasnt sure that would help. "Ill probably drink one and go to sleep," the Australian veteran said. The two players set up a Sunday showdown between former HSBC champions after finishing off their third rounds with identical birdies over three of the last five holes Saturday to separate themselves slightly from the rest of the crowded leaderboard.Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Teddy Bridgewater had a touchdown pass and Blair Walsh kicked a pair of field goals as the Minnesota Vikings closed out the season with a 13-9 victory over the Chicago Bears. Bridgewater was 17-of-25 for 209 yards with an interception for the Vikings (7-9), who snapped a two-game losing streak. Matt Asiata carried the ball 19 times for 91 yards. Great team win and great to finish the season on a good note, said Bridgewater. Learned a lot this year and overcame a ton of adversity. Great men with great character. Jay Cutler, back under center after being benched for last weeks game, was 23-of-36 for 172 yards for the Bears (5-11), who dropped their final five games of the season to finish last in the NFC North. After missing the playoffs for a seventh time in the past eight years, Chicago might be looking to clean house as head coach Marc Trestman and general manager Phil Emery are on the hot seat. Minnesota scored on its first touch of the game, as a 13-play, 61-yard drive was finished off with a Walsh 37-yard field goal with 4:59 to play in the first quarter. Minnesota converted a pair of third downs on the drive. The Bears werent able to put points on the board until late in the first half, as Jay Feely kicked a 48-yard field goal with just 55 seconds showing on the clock. Alshon Jeffery caught a 19-yard pass on a 3rd-and-8 to keep the drive going. The Vikings started the second half with the ball, but Bridgewater was picked off by Kylee Fuller, leading to a 25-yard field goal from Feely less than two minutes in. Cole Beasley Jersey . Minnesota, though, came right back to take the lead, as Bridgewater went deep down the right side for Adam Thielen, who came down with the ball for a 44- yard score, the first of his career. A 44-yard field goal from Walsh with 11 1/2 minutes to play in the fourth made it a 13-6 game. Chicago got a big return from Marc Mariani on the ensuing kickoff, as he brought the ball 67 yards down to the Minnesota 35. However, the team moved just 18 yards and Feelys 35-yard field goal made it a four-point game with under nine minutes to play. Minnesota was able to eat over six minutes of the clock on its next touch and drove the ball down to the Chicago 3. Facing a 4th-and-1, though, Asiata was stuffed. Cutlers pass on fourth down was complete to Martellus Bennett, but he fell a yard short to turn the ball over on downs, and Bridgewater went into the victory formation. Game Notes Minnesota went 5-3 at home this season ... The Bears finished the season 3-5 on the road ... It was the first time Chicago finished last in the division since 2004 ... The Vikings missed the playoffs for a second straight season ... Matt Forte had 51 yards on 17 carries and eight catches for 23 yards for the Bears. He finished the season with 102 catches, the most ever in NFL history for a running back. Larry Centers held the previous record, with 101 catches for the Cardinals in 1995.
